Founded in 2021 by Eddie Rustin and Shaun Sheridan, Tech Savvy was born from a shared passion for quality service, customer satisfaction, and a desire to do things differently. After years of working together in the AV industry, we realized our vision: to create an audio-video company that puts people first.

 

We specialize in Residential, Commercial, and Education markets, offering solutions that enhance the way people live, work, and learn. Whether we're designing a smart home, setting up a business conference room, or implementing AV systems in schools, we approach every project with the mindset: “What would I do if this were my own space?”

 

Our mission is simple—to make people’s lives better with technology. From saving time and energy at home with smart automation to helping businesses connect more effectively with clients, to creating safe, engaging learning environments for students and teachers, we’re passionate about the impact the right technology can have.

Meet the Founders

• Eddie Rustin brings 18 years of AV experience, rooted in live music performance and sound engineering. Having traveled the country as a musician and sound engineer, he now lives in Minneapolis with his wife and two sons. Eddie thrives on problem-solving and implementing creative solutions that meet unique client needs.

• Shaun Sheridan has over 22 years of AV industry expertise, with a background in Electronics Engineering Technology from Dunwoody College of Technology and multiple nationally recognized AV certifications. Based in Chaska with his wife, son, and daughter, Shaun is passionate about continuous learning, professional growth, and building strong client relationships.
